New Zealand
Do you know about our project with New Zealand? Well I am going to tell you about it. On Tuesday,December 8,2009 we had a video chat with a class there. We have been making friends and e-buddies with them. So we started to do a blog with them where we list things we do to stay healthy. We made up questions to ask them about the blog we are doing together. When we skype with them we have to stay after school while they have to get their at 7 0'clock that may sound like a original time to go to school but they start school at 9 o'clock! Here are some of the things I learned in our skype with them. The saddest one is that they only have a week out for summer but it is to make up the hours since they get to go to school at 9:00 and get out of school at 3:00.But they have their Christmas in the summer so thats like different than what we do here. Also they can go to school barefooted! It is because of a tradition with their Indian Ancestors. But the way they play sports is cool too. Like our game in basketball- we dribble the ball but they have to stand still and just pass it to other teammates and shoot it from wherever they are! That must be hard. But there is one sport here that is their favorite sport- it is Soccer But the funniest sport is hockey. They play hockey barefooted on concrete! In New Zealand they only have to drive 20 minutes to go to the beach! I wish I were in New Zealand.

My Christmas Traditions
What do you do on the night before Christmas?
Well here are my Christmas traditions. On the night before Christmas I go to both of my grandparents houses. That is where my traditions begin. When I go to my first house we eat our dinner and then we go to the living room and open our presents that they got us. When I go to the other house- first we eat the last part of the dinner. Next, we read a story about Jesus Christ that tells the true meaning of Christmas. Then we go home and set out cookies and milk for Santa. Then last of all we go to bed and wait and wait until morning.

On Friday, November 6, 2009 I got a new puppy. I was so shocked and exited. Because I have been wanting a little lapdog. Her name is Sassy. And she is a Shorkie which is a Yorkie and a Shih zhu mix. And now she is my little angel. I love her with all my heart. Right now we are puppy paddand crate training her.
